It is the rare successful entrepreneur that doesn't want to expand. It is the even rarer one who successfully expands. I wish them the best.

So moving from a neighborhood market adjacent to a Green line stop to the Six Corners? I wonder if they realize that this is probably a step down in terms of foot traffic?

It’s a second location = “Morelli still plans to keep operating the original shipping container location with an abbreviated menu of the Bronzeville Bourbon dog, the Prairie Blues Steak dog (cranberry honey mustard, cabbage, collard greens), and a rotating seasonal option.”

Filipino fast food chain Jollibee is opening a new outpost in The Loop between Monroe and Adams on Michigan Avenue, basically across the street from The Art Institute. This will replaced a closed Cosi location. Their other locations in the city are in the Seafood City complex in North Mayfair on Elston, and a temporarily closed cloud kitchen location in River North. They also have one in Skokie. This will be the 3rd legitimate brick and mortar location in the Chicago area.

Cafe Siena will be opening in Old Orchard near Maggiano's. It's connected to the other Siena spots in Chicago.

Also in Old Orchard, the space formerly occupied by Smith and Wollensky will become a Brazilian steakhouse of some sort. Ownership is the same family that runs Jameson's Charhouse.

That is something. I always check to see if Le Francais building is still standing. I am glad it will be put to use.

Sochi Saigon is open serving regional Vietnamese cuisine. The owners are a husband and wife team who immigrated from Vietnam in 2016, and lived in Singapore and Australia previously. They are from Ho Chi Minh City originally, and look to introduce people to some expanded Vietnamese options. Menu also includes cocktails, beers (including one from Vietnam), and various wines. Interior is more trendy-modern with prices to match.
