Fake News! It’s Primo Taglio Cheese Cup.

Randhurst was out of shredded and crumbled parm, goat, etc... But they had fresh mozz and burrata on a different shelf which qualified. No issue with the Just4U app and self checkout.

Between the free item, a couple of Just4U offerings, and a handful of rewards points, I managed to get a dozen eggs, a pound of butter, the Taglio cheese cup, a large onion, a Saturn peach, radishes, celery, a bag of frozen broccoli, and an 8-oz box of organic salad greens, and my total came to $4.77. :)

    Nice job, Cynthia!

By the time I got to Jewel yesterday, the only Primo Taglio option was fresh mozzarella. Our basil plant is plentiful and we have Mighty Vine tomatoes. Caprese here we come!

While Jewel did not enter the picture we have been going strong on Caprese. Basil plant is going nuts as is lettuce, Restaurant Depot stocks well priced BelGioioso fresh Mozzarella and burrata, both of which are in my fridge, and I bought a box of Mighty Vine a few days ago at Costco. I am constantly surprised at how much I like the Mighty Vine.

Yeah -- that was the only option by the time I arrived. But that's still a nice thing to have. And thanks for the Caprese idea.

I did. The manager wasn’t in a good mood. Apparently, they never got their delivery. I still got my iced tea. :D

    Hi,

I don't know if this applies to everyone, but in Just4U electronic coupons:

    - Free 12-pack of Coke or Pepsi, if you spend $25
    - Pepsi 2 liter products are 39 cents each in a quantity of four. If you have been clipping the coupon for one Pepsi product, get a Dole lemonade for free over the last few weeks, this is the time to pull the trigger. At my store the Dole is not on the shelf. The manager allowed me to take four additional Pepsi products, instead.

    Not coupon related:
Buy a package of Vienna Hot Dogs, get a 2 liter bottle Coke for free. At my Jewel, there was Coke next to the Vienna display, but no mention of the connection.

Today is National Hot Dog Day, so Vienna's mustard, relish and pickle spears are on sale. My Dad loves the spears, because they fit just right in the bun.

I did not clip the Dole lemonade one, and I just checked, and it is no longer available. Does anybody know about the spend $25 get a free 12 pack of Coke or Pepsi, if they only allow you to get Coke or Pepsi, and nothing else made by them such as sprite? Also for the $.39 two liters it looks like there are only a few diet ones available? Thanks, Nancy

I don't think I mentioned this, and Google doesn't show it in the first few pages, but I found Duke's mayo at the Mount Prospect Jewel.
I can't quite out my finger on what makes it better (I didn't have Hellman's around to compare), but it seems more like the Platonic ideal of mayo than other brands. It's made some very good dips and dressings recently.

That's my favorite mayo too. It used to be almost impossible to find. In fact the way I originally stumbled upon it was at Dollar Tree, and then only in certain stores. It would occasionally show up there about twice a year in 8oz jars. Now lots of places carry it. It's one of the few things that I buy at Walmart, but I've seen it elsewhere too.

The main difference between Duke's and other brands is that Duke's doesn't contain any added sugar so it's more like what mayo is supposed to be.
