The Mount Prospect Journal reports that Salsa Street Fiesta Grill will move into the space formerly occupied by Truco Taqueria at Randhurst. They've got outlets in Sleepy Hollow, Chicago, and Palatine but I don't see a report here.

The menu on the website looks at least one notch above standard tex-mex (points deducted for ugly website with PDF menus)

My wife loved Mia Figlia, was one of her go-to places in our general neighborhood.

Jovanis Bourgoub's latest venture, Red Fish, Bleu Fish, will offer seafood dishes from the Mediterranean to New Orleans and the Pacific Islands, such as crab cake sliders, baked lobster tail, ceviche, paella and a seafood boil.

Great to have another bistro similar to Miramar right in my backyard. Photos look great on Facebook. Looking forward to it, thanks for the heads up Dave.

From the horrible name [IMHO] alone I just knew this had to be a chain, and the Crane's article confirms it:

The store is the creation of Italian entrepreneur Antonio Somma. ... Somma plans ultimately to open 20 to 30 Mozzarella Store shops around the country...

Too bad we can't have a real cheese monger, like Pastoral, in that space. Wow, you can watch them make cheese, something for the tourists I guess. Reeks of the person making pasta in the front of the Olive Garden.
