It used to be in the upper right hand corner. Has it moved? or is it gone? I used that often.

Sorry if this is redundant, but on my mobile device (iPhone 6S), one cannot jump directly to the "last post" in a thread from the "View Active Topics" page, even though the "last post" is indicated in gray by user and time under the thread title.

That's in contrast to the full site, where I can click on the "last post" line to link to said post. It's sort of a pain, because the best I can do on my phone now is (1) jump to the start of the thread (which might be 10 years and 50 pages old) and (2) jump to the last page, but only to the top of the last page, then (3) scroll down to the new post.

    Thank you.

    Jeff

Hi - once I do a search and find a post with what I am looking for - how do I get to the actual topic it is in? It used to be that you were taken to a post in a list of posts under the topic, but now you are taken to the post in isolation and the topic title is not a link.

So Google search is the only option now? There's no way to see results by date so it's kind of useless to me now. I don't need to see what the Thai places were in 2009.

No. Once you open the search window the default is for Google but you can also click on use the old site search below the window.

I just want to provide a data point on this: accessing the site on a regular desktop computer, there are no icons showing near my user name at all.

(Tried to attach a screen capture, but failed at that as well.)

The search function is really vital. Would love to find the cause of the problem.

Well, this is frustrating. What does a guy have to do to get a search icon around here?

At work on a Windows 7 (Professional) PC. Using Firefox. I haven't taken time to experiment with different computers/browsers/OS's.

Thanks - no pressing need for that, though it might be helpful to know if the problems you're encountering are similar across multiple platforms and/or browsers.
