So, if it's legit (no difference from Macallan 18) sounds like a great deal.

Thanks to kassaal for the heads up.

    FYI-
I saw tthe FW thread yesterday morning and went Costco yesterday eve and they did not have these bottles. They did have non-Kirkland Macallan 18 750ml (in a green box) for $39.99 I believe.

You're kidding me. They're telling me the 18yr old Macallan usually retails for $150. $39.99?!?!? I'm gonna clear 'em out.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was the 10 or 12 year, not the Macallan 18 year.
is making all his reservations under the name Steve Plotnicki from now on.

It would make sense if it was the 12 due to price but I coudl have sworn it was the 18. Maybe someone can confirm before anyone wastes a trip.

Went to Costco on Clybourn and they did not have the 18, only the 12 year for $39.99. And they had the Le Cruesset dutch oven for $167.

Interesting... Have visited the Niles and Naperville Costco's w/o success in locating Kirkland-branded Macallan 18 or Macallan 12. Have only found Glenlivet 12.

    Anyone know re: Schaumburg Costco?

Been there in the last week and did not see the Kirkland-branded Macallan 18. Have you checked the website?

I didn't find a more suitable thread so I'll reopen this one to share this fairly eye-popping Macallan menu. Reddit post. The cheapest is $1580/1 oz.
