Some excellent sounding Indian dishes have been discussed in the Egg-O-Holic thread:
    viewtopic.php?f=14&t=44793

Hoping some LTHers would be interested in a lunch at the Schaumburg location on August 15th. Restaurant opens at 11:30am, thinking we as a group meet at 11:45am.

All are welcome, if interested please post your interest. Looking forward to a fun, delicious LTH lunch !

    Hi,

In order of preference: 17, 15, but not 3. It could be only the 17th, I seem to recall opening my big mouth to do something, but cannot find it.

    Regards,

I really enjoy this place and would love to join you. At this moment in time, the three dates you've noted work for me.

In this case and the fact that Mon Aug 15 works for everyone so far, let's go with the 15th.

There is an Egg-Holic in Niles, perhaps that location might work better.

Or perhaps have a second outing, for folks who are closer to that location.

I have a feeling another outing would be in order despite never having dined at an Egg-O-Holic.

An Indian co-worker always enjoys what he has at Schaumburg Egg-O-Holic combine this with the praise in the LTH thread, again I think another outing would be in order. Niles also works for me, so I'm happy to set up a dinner sometime GAF.

For the record, the name of the restaurant is Egg Holic. This is from their website: "We look forward to serving you, fellow foodie! Stop by and experience Egg Holic!" They also refer to themselves as EggHolic, but never as Egg-O-Holic or as I wrote as Egg-Holic. The reason for the Egg-O-Holic error (at least I think that it is an error) is that there is a circle-thingy (an egg) between Egg and Holic on their website.

Let me admit that I think that Egg-O-Holic is a more sonorous name, even if it reminds one of alcoholic.

Not that the exactness of it matters much but the name and signage seem to be ever-evolving and have changed a few times since the early days.

Sounds interesting. I am not a fan of eggs. I am sure my husband who is Indian would like it, but can't attend. Please post pictures if you can.

While most dishes feature eggs, they also have items with paneer or chicken.

And as an interesting note: I got there a little early and chatted with a young man who is clearly either the owner or manager -- and he explained that he had moved from India to Spain for many years, so his Spanish is better than his English. But his English is pretty darn good, too. But thought that was kind of interesting -- not a trajectory that one might guess.
