It was simply wonderful to share our first Evanston Lunch Group™ lunch in fifteen months! The weather was perfect for an outdoor lunch, sunny and not too hot, not too cold. The food was very good indeed. A great experience for all who were there. (Get well, Tom!)
Five & Dime is the upstairs restaurant, with Lulu's downstairs. Most of the upstairs space is outdoors; the patio is lovely, looking out over the city without the hustle and bustle of the streetscape:

GUACAMOLE & CHIPS - fresh avocado, tomato & onion, cilantro, warm tortilla chips (not pictured, sorry)
QUESADILLA - chihuahua & jack cheeses, charred tomato salsa
LULUS GINGER SALAD - romaine hearts, vegetables, crispy wontons, Lulus ginger dressing choose teriyaki chicken or soft tofu
TUNA POKE - Sashimi tuna w/ cucumber & seaweed salad, pickled ginger, spicy chili aioli & yuzu ponzu sauce over steamed rice & topped w/ a jumbo fried shrimp
THE GENUINE BURGER - DBL Black Angus patties, American cheese & classic sauce, homemade dill pickles, brioche bun, french fries & slaw
ROAST BEEF DIP - shaved beef, gruyere cheese, caramelized red pepper & onions, au jus, potato salad, slaw & pickled jalapenos
MIXED GRILL - bacon & ale sausage w/ applewood, brown sugar smoked pork loin chop, dijon mustard sauce, green beans & steamed yukon gold potatoes
LEMON CREAM CAKE - yellow genoise cake, creamy lemom & orange spiked mascarpone, mango compote & whipped cream (not pictured, sorry)
