Stopped by American Science and Surplus yesterday, they didn't have any of the bottles pictured upthread. The only glass dropper bottles there were only 30ml and clear.

I think we need to know how many people want to go in on this. Amazon has 6-pks of the 2oz dropper bottles available via Prime for $12.99/ea. I would suggest we see if ASS (nice acronym!) will special order them for us--not sure how many come to a case but if everyone orders collectively, we'll need 144 bottles (of course, then we have to figure out how to get them to everyone). I'm happy to do it but I don't want to get stuck for it if people back out...

We have plenty of time to order from specialtybottle.com. I believe ASS only deals in surplus, therefore they wouldn't be able to do a specialty order.

I'm in for shared shipping on bottles from specialtybottle, though I'd prefer brown and eyedropper style rather than shaker bottle. Brown is significantly cheaper and more UV protective. http://www.specialtybottle.com/amberbos ... opper.aspx

Count me in for whatever dropper bottles you decide on. I'd be willing to take more than 12 too since I'll probably be doing some experimenting as part of this endeavor. I'm researching what ingredients I can get my hands on first before committing but I have some fun ideas.

These bottles come out to about $13/pp total if all 12 of us order them. The price goes up if we order less than 128 bottles.

I'm pretty sure I already have enough bottles at home but I'll check later to confirm. If not, I'd be in on a group purchase here.

12-24 for me, please. I only have a few bottles left and some of them are missing their eye-droppers. :x

I'm not 100% sure yet, but I'm thinking making something with hops and pine needles. I'll probably use a fruity hop like citra or amarillo, and pine needles from my christmas tree!

I'm confirmed for Thai Bitters: Bird Chile, Quassia, Coriander, Galangal, Ginger Root, Lemongrass, Kaffir lime, Thai basil. Not sure if they'll all make it in--plan is to make separate tinctures from each ingredient and then blend.

I would definitely like to request the full 24 bottles since I may make a few home versions with different combos.

Be glad I'm leaving out the fish sauce.

I'll take 12 bottles and I'm leaning towards a orange, chocolate bitters. I'll look at some recipes and make a decision.

In for 12 if still going, and can PayPal, or even better, drop cash in a sketchy fluorescent vinyl pouch on the stoop of your choosing, for the orderer.

Please confirm the quantities of bottles you want so I can order them on Monday.

Also, if anyone needs any wild cherry bark, cinchona bark, calamus root, minced orange peel, or cassia chips let me know. I have more than I could ever use.

I searched around a bunch for interesting ingredients and ended up buying a good variety of stuff. For now put me down for sumac bitters, though that may change depending on how it turns out. I'm thinking the citrusy flavor will work nicely in a variety of drinks, but who knows how it'll turn out.
