99th Dessert Exchange, Sunday, June 11th, 4pm

I have enjoyed some amazing hospitality the last few months and would now be pleased to welcome you to my home for the next exchange. Usual format.

I live very near the annual LTH Picnic locale. Sandwiched between Edgebrook to the north and Forest Glen to the south.

Please note, we do have a dog. She sheds twice a year between January and July and then again from August to December.

As always, this event is open to all, new attendees welcome.

Just bumped into this Food52 recipe for: Salty-Tangy Preserved Lemon Bars.

Per the notes from those who baked it earlier, I will likely rinse the salt off the preserved lemons.

We shall see!

for some reason i couldn't get excited about trying a new recipe this week, so i'm making an old favorite which i havent had in a long time but have been craving: it's a blueberry buckle with lemon syrup. i'm throwing in some raspberries this time as well.... looking forward to tomorrow.

I almost made a blueberry buckle myself! I look forward to trying yours. Ultimately I decided to risk it & try something new - Salted Miso Brownies. We’ll see…

I have a negative result on the covid test, my allergies have been bananas the last couple of days.

And my basically rhubarb w/ a smidge of strawberry pie is looking pretty good.
