A few years ago I got a bunch of cherries that are a cross between Bing and Rainier types that were named for a grower's daughter who died tragically. Does anyone else remember those? They really did have the good qualities of both. Have not seen them since.

My family has bought at least 30 pounds this year. Cherries are one of the fruits that are eaten seasonally in my household. Once it is gone, it is missed until next year.
