Amazon Fresh is at 5.99 for choice as well. And savvy folks might already know about the coupons they generally always have for the taking.

Not being in the market for steak but somewhat suspicious of the ribeye at 7.99/lb., I looked at the label on one in the Jewel at 4250 N. Lincoln in Chicago this afternoon. FWIW the label clearly said choice. I also noted that ones in the service meat case at that price were cut quite thick for steaks and heavily marbled.

I'll make a note to check the grading labels at mine in person.
They might be leaving the grade label out of the ad for some reason.

At th Mundelein Jewel, the ribeye roasts were marked Choice. On a side note, these looked like what I would call small end standing rib roasts. I am puzzled why cuts that include much more than the eye muscle are called ribeye. Rib roast, rib steak were the traditional names.

And that same roast, usually whole or cut from the large end, is sometimes called prime rib, leading to the conundrum USDA Choice prime rib.
