That is terrific news! It's another step toward totally sterilizing our city of all it's "dirty" history...
Now if we could only get rid of Miller's Pub, Billy Goat (on Washington St. as well), Exchequer, Pippins, Zebra Lounge, Su Casa and Club Lago, we can finally have a nice "clean" city for all the tourists to enjoy....

Not happy at all right now. After reading posts, went to CND for first time today before the closure. Place is great. Love the old-school vibe, neighborhood bar feel and vintage Chicago memorabilia. I equate it (sort of) to if The Lodge served great food. Went with the grilled cheese gyro, amazing. I will be back tomorrow for the last hurrah. Can't believe it took me this long to find this place, now it’s gone. terrible

Grabbed a t-shirt and 2 gyro melts tonight...

It was packed like I've never seen it before. The sandwich was a delicious iftar.

    RIP CND!

The thin sliced gyros meat on buttered bread...I could have eaten two and should have.

As I type this, I am eating my first, and last gyro from this place. I just walked past this place on my way home from work. The sign says they closed Saturday, but the door is open. Although the kitchen is closed, the gentlemen was nice enough to make me a gyro. He said that I am having one of the last. It's a shame, since the damn thing is good. Come to think of it, I'm going to walk back now to see if I could get one more...
