hi Laura. I am linking forward to seeing you and everyone today. Unfortunately, my sister, Simmie22, won't be coming with me (I know she PMd you but I wanted to let everyone know. Also, I will need to depart by 6 pm to get back to Glen Ellyn to see my nephew who is in town on leave from the Marines.
    Can't wait to see everyone!

Thanks to everyone for coming out last night. All the desserts were delicious! I have a couple of things that were left behind: Joan's glass plate and a cake server with a wooden handle from Williams Sonoma. Joan, I'll PM you. Who would like to claim the server? :)

this is why is usually ask the host to provide me with a platter: i forget to take my platter home with me. as a host, i hate being saddled with left behind platters that never fit anywhere.... so sorry laura! i'll go back to my old, and better ways of doing things next time..... which is at my house....so, the time after that. i'll try to come pick it up ASAP, and thanks for being such a delicious host.

I would really like the recipe for the salt and pepper cookies. They were very addictive.
