Well, I wouldn't want to link to someone else's picture, but do a Google image search for BACON BRA. Safe for work pictures. Just might be what the doctor ordered.

In regards to "cheap" bacon to wrap around dates, some of my favorite bacon is from Sam's Club, and comes in at 4 pounds (2-2 pound packs) for just under $12 I believe. I don't recall the brand name, but they always seem to have it. And this is quite thick bacon, around 10 slices per pound...so I don't know if that is workable for the application. However, I personally just cook it all at one time (in the oven personally) because it's gone in less than 48 hours.

Actually, I like the pepper bacon at Aldi's; I think it's the Grandessa brand. I don't know if thick-cut bacon is better or worse for wrapping, though...

Lime jello is a good call. I had always suspected that cold cereal was the only thing not improved by bacon - I just can't see Corn Flakes, muesli, Cocoa Puffs, Cheerios, etc tasting any better with bacon. Maybe Corn Pops though...

So how was that Bacon and Egg cocktail you said you'd try last month? The bacon-in-everything fans have been strangely silent in that thread.

I actually looked on their site and it was no longer listed! I'll call and see if it's still there. I got so busy I didn't have time to try it this month, but if they have it, I'll indeed go, try, and post.

As for the Bacon Jell-O, I really don't like Jell-O, so I think I'll pass!

As someone who loves bacon, has smoked her own bacon, has hosted a series of bacon cook-offs, and most importantly, eaten bacon jello (in a jello mold creation dubbed, "Spongebob Baconpants"), I think I can safely say, bacon does not improve jello. It's a waste of perfectly good bacon. :D

    OK,

Just to clarify, my company distributes this bacon in Chicago - we don't produce it. I have about 12 retail (12oz) packages I can give away. I will be at the warehouse from 8:00 to 11:00 on Saturday, and 5:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday. The first 12 to show up at 1125 W. Lake St. (May and Lake - entrance on May) can have them no charge. Ask for Dave upstairs or call the number on the JDY sign on the building. We also have some their sausages I'll thrown in as well.

All I ask is you give honest feedback on this forum. THANKS

For a website that probes the limits of this question, check out:

    http://thisiswhyyourefat.com/

Not everything on this site has bacon in it . . . but, not surprisingly, most of it does.

My conclusion: sometimes too much of a good thing is, well, too much.
