I had a really delicious meal at Kusina de Manila in Des Plaines and have wanted to get back. Not only was the food good, the owner Winston was friendly and also took great pride in the food being served. LTH thread here:

Time: I'd suggest 6:30pm as they close at 8pm.

yes, I've booked a larger reservation that we currently have confirmed attendees. I'm really sorry to say that I will no longer be able to make it to tomorrow night's dinner.
An unforeseen obligation has come up and I have to be elsewhere. I was really looking forward to it and am very sorry I won't be able to make it.
