Well, Mardi Gras time has crept up, and again I say Laissez les Bon Temps Roullez!
Here's some of the fun from last year:
viewtopic.php?f=19&t=31093&hilit=Mardi+Gras&start=30#p365590 I am proposing the Mardi-Gras friendly date of Sat afternoon Feb 18.
NOTE: TIME CHANGE! I am shifting the time somewhat to 3PM- 8ish to accommodate the musicians in the group-
I hope this doesn't throw a wrench into anyone's plans too badly...
My place is in the Northern suburb of Deerfield, very close to the Deerfield Road exit of either the Edens or 294.
I'll be PM'ing address and directions on Thursday night.
I am also only 1/2 mile from the Deerfield Metra station,
and if neccessary we could organize a commuter run....
I am going to cap attendance at 20ish-
Bring something Cajun, creole, or southern.
I'm thinkin I'll do some Gumbo, and I still have an ample stock of beads to "throw" in!
We may even convince Mr. H to have a repeat performance of live Cajun and Irish music to enjoy while we eat and socialize ....
Woo hoo!
I'll bet you thought I forgot!
