    I went through 2 hurricanes in 3 wks (Francis and Ivan) and moved back to Chi after 20 yrs within a month. A hassle and dangerous adventure, I prefer winter. But we did some damn nice cooking before the food spoiled- a couple bbq's @ nearby friends in spite of dusk to dawn curfews and downed power lines in standing water.
