Thanks to your support, Chicago's first food museum is almost here! Can you believe it? In just THREE DAYS, we'll be popping up our first temporary exhibit, The Hot Dog and Encased Meat of the World, at Block 37.
The doors open to the public at 11 AM on Saturday, September 19 and you won't want to miss our special guest: Chicago legend Doug Sohn of Hot Doug's fame! It only made sense that the king of encased meats would help us celebrate our first exhibit.
Our volunteers have been working their buns off to pop-up this eye-opening exhibit in just 30 days. Come admire historical artifacts, travel around the world through your nose, and learn everything you wanted to know about Chicago's favorite dish: the hot dog! If you can't make it Saturday, be sure to stop by soon. Here's where you can find us:
