    I decided to create a thread that can serve as a place for all things Doug Sohn post-Hot Doug's. That way no one will see an old thread and get excited about a possible revival that is not coming, aside from the ballpark manifestation.

    Doug was hawking samples of his retail product at Schaefer's wine store in Skokie today. My son and I enjoyed the chorizo sausage. Among the others are andouille, Hungarian, jalapeno, and sweet Chinese.
    I chatted with Doug and learned that he enjoys having the time to cook at home now. He also likes having the chance to visit other restaurants. Among his favorite places in his neighborhood are Isla Pilipina and an Indian place called Paprika.
    Ten bucks gets you a pack of four of Doug's specialty sausages.
