Duck Duck Goat does a whole duck that's good... not 3 course dinner like Sun Wah but plenty of other options to add to the meal

Likewise. Miss them, but was taught that principles cost.

    I got nothing.

Except for the absolutely delicious and fantastic Peking Duck I had there for my birthday a couple weeks ago.

i'm waiting another couple of years- if they get no more health code violations, i'll return
(if you were ever to actually get sick from eating at sun wah- would you admit it???)

Silver Seafood does a quality Peking duck, but the meal is different. Instead of bao, they do the more typical pancakes, and they roll them for you. The remaining meat it made into a delicious stir fry. You're not going to top Sun Wah but it is definitely worth your time.

Ate at Sun Wah when I was in town last fall. Great as always. Usually a stop whenever I’m in town.....and yes, if I ever thought they made me sick, I’d say it.

I think I would have to be darned sure of the source of food poisoning before I'd make an accusation.

If we could all please refrain from turning this thread into another Sun Wah trainwreck, it would be greatly appreciated. We've already beaten that dead horse into multiple deaths here.

    Thanks,

We had it last week! Nothing like the duck at Sun Wah, it’s roasted and served with red cabbage, duck fat spaetzle and bacon with a delicious Bigarade sauce. Thé skin is crispy and it’s very flavorful.

We were at Sun Wah last night. In addition to the duck with bao, fried rice and soup, we received duck on stir-fried noodles. It was a large group, though, with two ducks on the table and maybe that's the reason for the extra course.

    Joan,

My friends tell me that Phoenix has been crushing their duck service lately but that it can be erratic. Still, when it's on, it's truly on . . . and fairly analagous to SW's.

You can actually specify the rice or the noodles when you order the duck dinner feast. If you are in a situation where more than one duck dinner is ordered, they will balance out each rice order with a noodle order.
