It's pretty good.
Jazzfood wrote:I was there last pm and must admit that after having 3 stellar peach ices in as many days, it was off. Under ripe fruit was crunchy, bland and did not leach flavor into the surrounding ice in the way we know it should. I'm sure it's only temporary and will be rectified. Haven't seen Skip around much lately either.
There's only another 10 days left for the Mario's season. Closing a bit early this yr (staffing probs I've been told). The 13th is it.

Nope, today's also has some hard chunks of too-thick peach. Oh well. Still pretty good.

Well, after three days in a row of peach lemonade where there were thick chunks of peach with the texture of granny smith apples (ugh), I think I might be ending my mario's peach spree. Maybe cantaloupe tomorrow.

summer has officially begun
Bits of plup, slight bitter palate popping orange rind/oil note, orange is now in my regular Mario's rotation. Thanks for the tip Alan.Jazzfood wrote:Biggest surprise of the day as per Maria... orange

Skip is an artist @ the height of his powers. All flavors in harmony sweet and strong. The chef in me revels. Smash hit home run out of the box.

Anyone who missed out on peach didn't miss much. The actual lemonade had decent peach flavor, but the pieces of peach inside were rock hard and fairly flavorless.
